Thank you so much for your interest in our beloved Nova Scotian Heritage Craft. As a certified teacher of the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia and the daughter and granddaughter of master rug hookers, it would be my honour to teach you about the history of rug hooking, with its many beautiful stories and rich history. Also, the wonders of wool, the tools required, types of backings available and various techniques and tricks to create a beautiful heirloom for yourself and/or your loved ones. 

You will be provided with a complete kit of the above:  which includes the pattern on linen backing, a frame, all the wool that is needed and ready to use, the instruction sheet and one on one instruction, as well as a hook (most important). If you already have a hoop or frame, please let me know, we want to make sure you are prepared for hooking wool fabric. All in all, it will be a fun 2 days of learning, laughing and the enjoyment of living our legacy for $150.00 + tax.
